Serving in the church allows us to do our part to take care of the needs of our other sisters and brothers in Christ. We all benefit from the programs of the church, and we also discover and grow in our gifts through service.
The purpose of our life is to bear much fruit and the purpose of our fruit is to nourish and be enjoyed by one another.
Developing a lifestyle of worship will not allow you to comfortably withhold what God has placed in you for his glory. Ultimately, it would be sad to rob yourself of the eternal rewards that come from serving.
