Service
Acts of Service
Service is the act of using one’s gifts, talents, and resources to meet the needs of others, following the example of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45). In the Bible, believers are called to serve one another in humility and love, reflecting Christ’s selfless nature. Jesus washed His disciples’ feet (John 13:12-17) as a symbol of servant leadership, urging them to follow His example in serving others. Service builds the body of Christ, as each member contributes to the common good, and through serving, believers fulfill their calling to love their neighbors and glorify God (1 Peter 4:10-11).
