Acts 2:47
47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved.
Engage in songs focused on who God is! (i.e. “God Is” by James Cleveland)
Engage in prayer with a focus on who God is! (i.e. Psalm 150)
Give and offering to God with a cheerful attitude of gratitude. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Teach someone something from the bible.
Record loving thoughts about God in a journal.
Verbally praise God for 5 things you observe in nature. (i.e. gravity, sunlight, rain, bees, etc.)
Memorize praise scriptures and recite them to God. (i.e. Romans 11:33 or 1 Timothy 1:17)
Worship God by loving your neighbor as yourself. (Mark 12:30-31)
Work on a poem or song that expresses love to God.
Worship is more than a Sunday morning experience. We sing songs that proclaim the worth of God. Worship is also revealed in our obedience and our response to God’s commands. it is a lifestyle. Biblical worship fuels our proper response to connecting with people through fellowship, giving, service, and outreach.
Are you still so excited about the gospel of Jesus Christ that it overflows in every area of your life? Have you learned to worship in spirit and in truth?
As you mature in Christ, do not be surprised that worship in spirit and truth involves the other 7 Essential elements of the abundant lifestyle.
Worship includes singing, praying, giving, and exhortation from the word of God. We worship in truth by reading the Word, rendering praise and thanksgiving in alignment with His Word, and living in obedience.
You can start right where you are. Attend corporate service weekly.
Consecrate a special time of the day to read the Bible, pray, and sing unto the Lord.
Journaling is one way to remain focused and even document your growth.
